Two visiting scholar or research assistant positions in the Interactive Visual Computing Lab are available for outstanding and highly motivated candidates to work on interdisciplinary projects related to the following areas:

  1. (1)Perception and Cognition Issues in Tensor-field Visualizations

  2. (2)Graph drawing and its related perception issues

  3. (3)Diffusion Tensor MRI or biological network visualizations

  4. (4) Interaction techniques

IVCL at the school of Computing offers an excellent training environment for research fellows in 3D interaction and visualization research. Candidates should have a BS degree in Computer Science with practical experience in visualization, or interaction, or visual analytics; must be hard working and highly motivated; and must be familiar with computer graphics and visualization. Being capable of programming in at least one graphics programming language (e.g., OpenGL or VTK or Qt) is a big plus.
